Why Become A Friend Of The Orchestra

The Friends of the Nelson County Community Orchestra are local citizens, organizations, businesses, and orchestra members
who donate money and time in support of the orchestra.  For our orchestra to grow and thrive, a Friends group is vital. 

As a nonprofit 501 (c)(3), your donations to NCCO may be tax deductible.  Contact your tax advisor for additional information and guidance.

Seven Ways You Can Support NCCO

  3. Participate in Kroger Cares by registering your Kroger card at www.kroger.com and entering the following organizational code: EN640-Nelson County Community Orchestra 
  4. Make in-kind donations of musical instruments you no longer play or of equipment like music stands you no longer use.
  5. Volunteer your time by serving as a Non-Performing NCCO Board of Directors Member, participating in the management of NCCO concerts, and advocating for NCCO in the community.
  6. Join NCCO and play music with a group of neighbors and friends who delight in playing music together.​​

NCCO Covid-19 Policy

NCCO is committed to creating the most inclusive musical environment possible. At this time, NCCO does not require its members to have a Covid-19 Vaccination, however, we do ask that if a member is feeling ill or has recently been exposed to Covid-19, that the member not attend rehearsal for at least one week. This policy and the current Covid-19 conditions are regularly reviewed by the NCCO Board of Directors, and the board reserves the right to amend this policy if it is deemed necessary for the safety of NCCO members.  ​
