Donate your used instrument
Support NCCO’s youth music education mission by donating your unused instrument. We have need for violins, violas, cello and bass, for students in our String Education Program, as well as woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. NCCO has developed a Low Cost Rental Program so that all students have access to our music programs.
To participate, NCCO charges students a nominal fee to cover minor maintenance costs, and it requires students and parents to sign a proper care agreement. Contact us to donate your instrument or donate money to this program so we an purchase rental instruments.

Instrument Loan Program History
- After our first year of providing the youth String Education Program NCCO leadership realized that scholarships for tuition were just not enough when you consider the additional expense of renting an instrument, and with money donated by well wishers in the community we acquired several student violins for loan to students.
- After publicizing our program needs in the fall of 2015, we were blessed with an outpouring of community support. With the success of our fall fund drive, benefit concert and grants we received from the we hired a administrator and will have an inventory of 27 quality new and used instruments (21 violins, 3 violas, 2 cellos and 1 bass) and will be able to provide very low cost loaner instruments for every youth in the program and scholarships for all in need. Additionally we have received a coronet, trumpet, drum set. Instruments are loaned out to SEP students at a nominal $5.00 per month maintenance fee. Once SEP needs are met, any remaining instruments may also be loaned to members of the NCCO.
